Holiday Gift Guide for the Female Adventure Traveler

Well the holidays are upon us.

OKAY. How did that happen?!

During this time of year everyone freaks out about what to get everyone. For some reason we forget what people would really want, while trying to search for the perfect gift in stores (hey, myself included!)

Well have no fear my friends, because this year I've got your shopping covered for the female adventure traveler in your life!

The female adventure traveler in your life is fun, bold, and downright awesome. She is living life to it's fullest. She enjoys traveling - near or far. She is low maintenance, but appreciates practical things that make life easier.

And the best part?! You can do ALL of your shopping sitting on the couch sipping a delicious holiday drink. Sounds amazing, right? See...nothing to worry about - the holidays are fun!

Consider your female adventure traveler shopping done! (honestly a lot of the items on this list could be applied to both genders, but I don't want to assume anything!)

Happy holiday shopping!

I know a lot of people that just take photos with their smart phones. If you don't feel like investing in a fancy camera, this clip on lens is calling your name! The 4-in-1 feature lets you switch out the lenses to capture: wide angle, macro, and fish eye. Talk about versatility!

Shop: Ollo 4-in-1 Lens Clip

Smartphone Battery Extender

I literally don't go anywhere without some extra battery life for my phone. In Iceland the cold weather zaps my battery SO fast and if I am at a waterfall and I can't snapchat my fans...it's not gonna be pretty. Do yourself a favor and get yourself one...or a couple - I have three of them!

Shop: Justin Power Adapter

Phone Protection

Speaking of the elements in Iceland - did you know that it's not uncommon to experience multiple seasons in one day?! I have seen wind, rain, snow and sunshine all within a few hours. PLUS the spray from the waterfalls will soak everything you have. And you definitely need to document your time in the hot springs! Your phone needs to be protected - invest in a case so you don't have to worry about a thing!

Shop: Catalyst Case for iPhone 6/6s

Accessible Technology

You know when it's so cold and windy outside but you need to use your phone to update your Instagram story? There's no way you're taking your gloves off - helloooo! Touchscreen gloves are a LIFESAVER to keep those hands warm and still be able to access your devices!

Shop: Agloves Touchscreen Gloves

Passport Fashion

Umm, who doesn't want a passport cover that inspires adventure?! Just more motivation to use it more often to cross off places on that bucket list!

Sleeping Support

Plane ride after plane ride can get exhausting! Catch up on some zzz's without sacrificing space in your carryon with an inflatable neck pillow! P.s. as your Chiropractor, neck support is VERY important - don't just lay your head on your boyfriend!

Shop: MLVOC Neck Pillow

Tunes on the Go

From picnics to singing in the shower to to hanging out in the hotel room...vacations definitely call for the perfect soundtrack. Make sure you can play your favorite songs by linking up to a portable speaker!

Shop: Bose Portable Speaker

Show off Where You've Been

The world is a great big place, and you've got a lot of traveling to do! I LOVE the idea of this fun scratch off world map - because pinning a map is so 1997! (just kidding we have a pin map that is awesome too)

Shop: Scratch-Off Map

Organized Packing

I don't know about you, but I am a huge nerd when it comes to organizing. I have bins and labels on almost everything in my house, and my luggage is no different! With packing cubes you always know where items are, and they're space efficient!

Shop: TravelWise Packing Cubes

Phone Tripod

Sometimes we travel alone. Sometimes you want to take a photo of a group that's NOT with a selfie stick. Sometimes we need to set our phone on an uneven surface. Enter the flexible smartphone tripod - one of my favorite gadgets for taking photos while traveling!

Shop: KobraTech Smpartphone Tripod

Ohhhh man, I need that Bose speaker! I had no idea they made portable ones. I usually use my iHome speaker but it would be nice to have something a step up for use at home where we have no stereo 🙂

Definitely! The Bose speaker is great because it has great sound but still really portable. Plus it comes in different colors…hellooooo! 😉
