Greetings from Ireland // I want YOU!

Happy Monday all the way from Ireland!

We are currently in Northern Ireland on our way to Dublin tomorrow. We’ve seen lots of leprechauns, rainbows, and pots of gold. Guinness runs fresh from the faucet and down the mountainside. It’s all good!

So I had an awesome idea the other day, and now I’m recruiting each and every one of you to help.

The high tourist season is about to begin, with a record amount of people visiting Iceland this year. At this point it is likely that you are following along on Life With a View because you have an upcoming trip planned.

I’ve been loving my new endeavor of . It’s been an amazing way to look back at our trips, I feel like I’m right there again! Be on the lookout for the next video from our trip to North Iceland.

BUT in the meantime…I want to make a video with all of you in it!

All you have to do is take some video footage (with you in it) during your time in Iceland. Select your favorite, and send me a short clip (5-10 seconds). Could be of you hiking a glacier, dancing under a waterfall, or walking on the black sand beach. Get creative! At the end of the season, I’ll compile everyone’s video into one big “Life With a View Readers” video. 🙂

Potential holdups:

1. “I don’t like being in videos!” Have someone take a video from behind you looking at a waterfall or mountain.

2. “I’ve already been to Iceland.” If there is a video clip you have (even if it’s a snapchat!), I can use it.

3. “I don’t have any video footage, but I have lots of photos.”  Select your favorite photo and I’ll include it that way!

Details:

• Video MUST be horizontal!
• 5-ish seconds of you in Iceland (make it fun!)
• Make sure you are IN the clip
• Share the file with me through dropbox OR send the file right to my email ()

Easy right?! So start taking those videos, and maybe it will get you in the habit of making your own !
